    Accurate, factual, analytical report on heavy bombing during WW2.

    My Father flew the B-17 Bomber 30 missions during WW2. I have a collection of books on the 8th Air Force and the bombers. This book is one of the very best of all of them . Well written. Accurate and documented with heavy foot notes.

    I am now "ANTY WAR" but MAFIA. It was "TOTAL WAR"

    Having been in Berlin during the Bombing at the age of 12 years, across the Street from a hospital, which has had only minor damage to it (not that I know of) I was always wondering how THEY - the British by night and the "Ami's" during daytime, did it. Was it just plain LUCK or good aiming?
