Nice, but heavy
I suppose the heaviness has something to do with the overall "solid" feel and quality of the keyboard, so that seems a reasonable trade-off to me. It also assures being a counterweight to the somewhat heavy tablet so it keeps the combo from tipping backward too easily, which is not unusual with a lot of these 2-in-1 designs when the keyboard is not heavy enough. The battery does extend the unplugged working life a bit, but I found that I needed to "tune" the usage so that the keyboard battery is used before the tablet's battery instead of the default dual rundown scheme (as I recall). The only real deficiency for me, as a Thinkpad vet, is the use of a touchpad instead of a Trackpoint. I am constantly brushing the pad with the sides of my thumbs leading to random jumps of the cursor as ... Another benefit of having Trackpoint instead of pad is that the keys can use that below the space bar to be made bigger, and to have more of them such as Home/End/PgUp/PgDn, etc. I rest my case ;-}

Its the actual design of the product not good
the product is supposed to be a "docking" station, in reality its a keyboard with limited mobility. Its called a docking station because it has a second battery which is okay except the only way to charge it is to remove the tablet, so you can't charge while using it. The other thing is there are NO PORTS whatsoever on the keyboard. The worst part which is important to me, the keyboard hinge does not allow flexibility its about a 45 degree angle. So unless you are standing up to use the keyboard its very difficult to use the keyboard and still see the screen. I have to tip the whole computer backwards, so I can see the screen and type with the keyboard at an angle. Maybe a surface would be a better option. Again, one of my major complaints is the lack of any ports on the keyboard. And tablet does not always seem to recognize the keyboard when it is installed. The logictech it paired immediately, so I don't think its the tablet.

Connection design just not perfect
The quality built is good, very nice to handle with the additional battery is just perfect. It is the design in the connection wiring that is not solid. My keyboard goes dead after two days, the next couple of days I spend figuring out how to get it alive again and this is what I did to get it going. After prying off the cover, 1) Make sure all the cable connection is fully connected. 2) The two side cable at the hinge that connect the tablet to the keyboard circuit board was lay under the hinge and after a few times of open and close the tablet with the keyboard attached, the keyboard just stop working. After removing the hinge and move the cable above the hinge so that it is free and not press by the hinge and it works. 3) Lastly I just use a wire tape to tape all the connection wire ... Sturdy and easy to type on, way better than touchscreen!
Adding the keyboard increases battery life (has a second battery built in) and makes it nearly as easy as a full laptop. You could actually use the tablet and keyboard combination as your only laptop! It feels well built and charges when you have the tablet connected to power and the keyboard connected.
