    I purchased this book as a replacement for my own which had somehow become lost the last time I took my room apart to clean it. I can't believe it's been twenty years since Gilbert Morris first started writing, and publishing, the House of Winslow series. This is the second book in the series which started in 1620 in England and Holland and follows the Pilgrims to the New World. Gilber Morris is a retired History Professor. His books are usually historically accurate though I have found one or two minor errors in them - usually names. The House of Winslow series starts in 1620 and currently is in the 1940s. It follows the family from generation to generation starting with Gilbert Winslow - brother of Edward who was governor of Massachusetts Bay Colony at one time. Though there was a ...
