It humors me if anything else
To start off this book came in and I saw it used to be a library book which for me is strange, I own well over 450 books and I've gotten books that were previously library books, however they were published in the 80's or early 90's and this is my first of one that was published just under 5 years ago. I've only finished 3 chapters thus far and I feel the way Jose Baez writes he contradicts himself with each chapter. The very first time he talks about Casey coming into the picture it is with her giving a dishonest answer to her mother. Jose has no problem with writing about how much Casey lies in the first 2 chapters which is an amazing amount. When he first meets Casey however he calls her a very bright young lady after never speaking to her before and when they do talk Jose blurts out ... Chapter 1 he writes how Casey's parents hate her and put her down all the time about stealing money, using them, and constantly lying to them but turns around in chapter 2 with saying how the family loves Casey and doesn't have a bad thing to say about her. This book is for the reader who wants to read about a man who writes about how the police force lies constantly, the parents of Casey are weird and have things they are hiding, and just explaining constantly how Casey is innocent in this entire ordeal (even though she is caught lying constantly) as Jose goes on to write a book in my eyes as being a way to try to prolong his 15 minutes of fame. In the beginning of his book he thanks Casey, his firm, his wife, and his family, if you're hoping to buy a book that seeks justice and seeks to remember poor little Caylee then you do not want this, because she is rarely mentioned. I recommend Imperfect Justice by Jeff Ashton who dedicates his book to Caylee and Caylee only. Note that his book came out a year before Jose's as I feel Jose was trying to put an equal together with the prosecution, that's basically all I have to write. Good day.

Excellent condition..must have been new and I actually thought I knew everything about this case until I read every word carefully. Boy, was I ever wrong. I see things very differently now. Jose did great job. I felt that he was very down to earth and so brutally honest, even about himself. I don't think we will ever know exactly what happened. The thought of George finding his grandchild in the pool and not calling 911 freaks me out. Seems so unbelievable. If that is what really happened, then it was a fair verdict.
