I would look at buying something else.
These hinges are pretty thin. If you expect them to hold up your gate or barn door, think again. Would not recommend them. Probably not even 3mm or a 8th of an inch in thickness. For the size and for what they are seemingly intended for, they are essentially worthless. I might try to double them up, but that could present other problems even tightly and properly secured.
