    The most precious book

    This is the most precious book imaginable. I had a copy of this that I read through the years to my children back in the mid-20th century. They each loved it. Then when my grandchildren came along and would spend the night here, I would read that sweet tattered old book to them when they went to bed, and they loved it. I searched always for a newer copy but was always saddened until recently when this book was reprinted with new pictures using the old text. So-- I tried to read this to my grandchildren who had known the old book but they refused to a accept it saying they were -sure- the story was different as well as the pictures. BUT -- grandchildren who have newly come along love it just as their siblings and parents before them. I HIGHLY recommend this book.

    Make memories with the little ones you love

    I turn 65 this year and this was my favorite book in 1954.I remember my Grandma and Daddy reading this to me. I bought this for my daughter to read to her little grandson so they will have the same memories I have. My daughter has already shared this beautiful story on her face book and friends are placing orders.

    I had this book as a child. It helped form me into a person who desires justice and integrity and peace. I would buy it for every child.
