My second one. Not changing it for another phone. Love it.

I had my first Motorola Moto X 1st generation since it came up for sale. Provides amazing apps. Might not have the greatest camera but you know what, a cell phone doesn't have to be a professional camera. It's not its primary purpose. Did not use any phone protectors and I cannot believe that after being slammed and crashed many times (by accident and intentionally by my "angry" 6 year old son) and worked for crazy long hours. 8 moths earlier the screen cracked very badly and phone still worked like nothing ever happened. In fact just a month ago my son knocked the phone again and the screen finally went half black and the rest had some colored stripes and I thought to myself, now for sure the phone is no longer going to work. Wrong, it was still receiving phone calls, ringing, receiving ...

  • This is a good phone for people who like easy to use phones.

My tablet is an IPAD - Mini and my normal phone is a Samsung Galaxy S(whatever). Initially, I was buying Galaxy tablets but started to hate them after I used my IPAD mini; the same can now be said for my Galaxy phone. I purchased a first generation Motorola solely on the name "Motorola." I wasn't sure I would like the phone and figured I would hate the phone. I LOVE THIS PHONE! I can twist my wrist and turn on the camera. I can say "OK GOOGLE NOW" and open the internet and make a demand that the phone follows. I can hear phone calls with no problem. The volume is loud; the phone is sturdy. Great phone. Pros: Loud volume No dropped calls Ease of use Wrist twist for the camera OK Google now Camera takes multiple shots by just keeping your thumb on the screen Cons: It is tricky ...

  • Stock Android, Active Display, and "Quick Capture" make this phone perfect

Because of theft, drops, borrowing, and setting up my parents with smartphones, I've used the iPhone 5, 4s, Galaxy S4, Google Nexus 4 & 5, the HTC One M8, and the Moto X just in the last 12 months. I'm currently using the Nexus 5, but I severely miss the Moto X. I'm done with Apple, iTunes, and the in general restrictive nature of iOS. So it boils down to Android for me. Now after running the pure Android OS, I really started to hate the Galaxy and HTC's additional UI. Ugly, unnecessary, and restrictive compared to what I can do with the Nexus and Moto X. So, owning a Nexus 10 tablet, the Moto X seemed like a good fit when I was shopping for a phone this past September. Not stellar specs, but it seemed to have a very hardcore fan base. So I bought it and used it. Then my car ...

  • Great day-to-day smartphone with great build quality! Good job Motorola!

I bought this phone to replace my Sony Xperia Ion which was already two years old. This phone has exceeded my expectations for what I use it for. I primarily use it for streaming Pandora via bluetooth in my car. In other day-to-day tasks such as texting, Facebook, or YouTube, the phone is quite snappy. Perhaps the most taxing application would be using Google Chrome; needless to say, the Moto X browses the internet without a hiccup. Battery Life is also exceptional. I was able to stream Netflix over LTE for an hour and I only used about 15 percent of the battery life. In summary, the phone is quite responsive with no major performance issues or crashes. If you need a phone with great build quality and a snappy interface that many earlier Android phones lack, this is your best bet.

  • BUY THE MOTO X!

I'm coming from the Galaxy family; have had models 1-3. Each of those units I had MULTIPLE batteries and would have to change batteries usually twice a day, and that's with WiFi off, autosync off... Etc. Now, with the Moto X, my phone is off the plug from 6am an I don't have to charge it until around 10pm, and that's pretty heavy use and Wii, auto sync on. The moto X is a superb phone: battery life is great, camera quality is awesome, the size is just right. I've had my Moto X for about 2 months now and it's still just as good. I should also mention that I purchases it used. Buy the moto X, it's the best!
