Be ready to connect to whatever projector is available
This is a great little dongle to have in your bag when you are using a computer with USB3 connections and will . be making a presentation. With both the VGA and HDMI connectors you will be fine with whatever projector is available. That is a comfort when you present in different places and often do not know in advance what connector you will need.

Happy with both HDMI and VGA connections
I purchased this to be able to perform presentations in different classrooms using my MacBook Pro (2016 non-touchbar). This has worked well for me so far. I'm using it 4 times a week for 1hr 15 min lectures. I use it half the time for HDMI connection and half the time for VGA connection. The plugs are secure on all ends under my use (at a podium) and I've had no problems with connections in over two months. I regularly use a my second USB-C port for a presentation controller, so I appreciate that the USB-C end doesn't take up much room. Awesome Adapter For the Money
Works exactly as expected. I've used both the VGA and HDMI ports without any problems. It's a tiny bit fiddly on the USB-C end if you pull on it when it's plugged in, but honestly, I have that problem with all my USB-C connections. Don't move your computer once you have it plugged in and you'll have no problems. Considering Apple charges 80 US dollars for the same device, this is a steal. Really solid performance, plug and play with current version of Windows. For the money, this is what you need. I've hooked this up to projectors and second monitors with no issue.Works exactly as expected. I've used both the VGA and HDMI ports without any problems. Works well for its intended purpose
Bought it to use with my Thunderbolt dock to extend my MacBook Pro to an older VGA display. It works right away with the VGA cable, and the HDMI output also work with my other HDMI to VGA dongle. Screen quality pretty good @ 1680x1050. Built quality seems quite decent. Would recommend it to anyone.

Great for work at home. Now, I can use this adapter, connect to two external monitors, and use laptop screen as 3rd monitor. No need to purchase Lenovo Dock.
