    Great starter and refresher

    Have just started this... the CD is well done. Lots of exercises and excellent pronunciation! My dad was German and I took German classes all the way to post secondary. This is a great refresher as I am extremely rusty.

    Excellen for first Europen Vacation

    Like any "Language Learning" book, you need time and patience. I have wasy more patience than time and this book suits me well when I have the time. Going to Bavaria for the first time and just didn't want to be the "Dummie" that could not recognize words, phrases or ask for help. I am certain I will do just fine with what I have learned in this book.
