Rechargeable for my old portable CD player.
Need to use it more and develop that full charge state from new. Several discharge and recharges are needed to fully get the hours of power storage It's capable of. Sony doesn't make them and not for many years, so any one thinking of buying those OEM rechargeable batteries may be wasting their money. The internal chemistry is not going to survive indefinitely in storage, too risky and expensive so I'm opting to go with freshly manufactured no name brands that will require a few cycles of use to perform at their best and save some money. Buy a handful!
Got these as backups for my minidisc recorder which is old and hard to find batteries for. Great price and expect to use them well. Now if I could just convince these people to make some replacements for my MZ-RH1 (li-ion, impossible to find) that would be the bees knees!
