Either the diameter is too wide or the thread pitch is off. The rings would either not fit at all or only screw in a small fraction of a turn. Item was brand new. Otherwise the seller shipped promptly, packaged well and refunded (less shipping) promptly on return. I would probably buy again from this seller, just not this item.
