The best gelatin product
Knox Gelatin is the best of its kind; easy to make many kind of dessert to one's liking. However, it is way too expensive unless one buys in bulk. I like the 0.25 oz packets, which keeps the powder fresh (with a two year long expiration date), and allows incremental amounts for any size container. The small packets also enable more consistent quantity in recipes without having to do any measurement from larger bottled packaging (which may get spoiled due to humidity). I have finished using two cases of 48 by 1 oz boxes in two years. Knox gelatine is not a brand I had used before. Added to hot liquid and there was an immediate foul odor like a corpse. Like the entrails used to make the product could not have been cleaned. I tried it with 6 packages. All the same. My kitchen smelled like death for the rest of the day. Never again with this brand.
