    Great Radios

    If you are expecting this to have a 35 mile range in an urban area like in a city then looks elsewhere. You'll get about a mile or 2 in those types of conditions. In open areas they are fantastic. Lots a features and channels. Recommended.

    Better than expected

    This pair of walkie-talkies has a 36 mile range, a little better than the 5 mile range of my old pair. Operation is smiliar making it easy to pick up and use. Charging time appears short meaning that I can charge and go, quickly, and they are pocket sized and can be used with boom mike/ear phone, great for caravaning and conversing hands-free.

    Fantastic HT !

    This little radio is well built and fills a niche. I can get it to talk around 8 to 10 miles. I use it out in the country and use it to talk to my GMRS base. Batteries hold up well and I like its high visibility. The radios are tuff bouncing around in my trucks all day.

    Using around the shop and property.. Saves the wife having to "scream" for me. Actual distance in my terrain. (hilly and wooded) is about 1 1/2 miles. Pleased. Would like to be able to purchase a single as to leave one in my home.
