    Read "Healing Back Pain" by Sarno first

    "Healing Back Pain" by Sarno is actually easier to follow, and apply. Those books, and other books on pain and the brain, follow the principal of Neuroplaticity, that is the brain can make new neurons by learning. and doing something different. You replace or bypass those neurons firing pain messages by learning that the pain originates in the brain, so you change how your brain is firing messages.

    Have An Open Mind & Give It Time To Work For You!!

    Been reading this book & another book by Dr Sarno...as of now this is my second time to read both books. Is this true?? Well, I've had severe pain from sciatica & muscle spasm all over my back for two & a half years....like a lot of people...I tried it all....temporary results. I bought the first book almost two months ago & yes something is going on with me. I still have episodes of pain, but nothing like it was. I spend a fortune on numbing creams...using every day all day long...just to get though the pain. I have not used any for a month or so. This has been a God sent. Like the books say.....you have to fight it......& that's just what I'm going to keep doing. Bless all of you out there who have this terrible problem...please give the method time to work & keep reading & praying. ...

    Interesting idea, does work if you follow his recommendations

    This book is written by a doctor who has helped many people who could not get help from other doctors for their pain. (physical as well as psychological). His ideas seem unconventional but that may be why they work. He has much success in his practice. This book explains why we have this pain in detail and then gives practical ways to help eliminate it. It does work!

    A Most Important Book!

    If you suffer pains that seem to have no explanation or cure, this could be the most important book you will ever read! Dr. John Sarno has been called a genius and a saint. I totally agree! He has helped thousands find a way out of pains that seemed to have no solution. I highly recommend The Mindbody Prescripton!
