Naruto is a GOAT of Anime and Manga. However the manga is better than the anime because it doesn't have any fillers. If you are ever reading a top 10 manga list and Naruto isn't on there. It isn't a credible list. Just close your tab and go somewhere else. Just give Naruto a chance up until the part 2 (time skip). And if you still don't like it after that, then yeah. You might want to drop it. But there is a character for everyone. The fight scenes are on par or even better than Dragonball Z.
