Great book! Talking to Strangers by Malcolm Gladwell

Super book “Talking to Strangers” I love all author Malcolm Gladwell’s books. His unique perspective helps the reader to see things in different ways. He opens your mind to accepting new ideas! This book allows you to unlearn ways of making assumptions about people you don’t know.

  • Great book

Great author and easy read. You'll finish within a week, it is written so well. It's about miscommunication of strangers and how we judge people wrong.

  • Halfway Through

This is easy to read, compelling stories of bad historical characters within the message of talking to strangers. Neville Chambers failure is well known. I have not yet gotten to his overall conclusion, but most of the stories seem to be rambling and just written as an onlooker and not edited very well. Would have given a five star if each chapter had not left me hanging and quite distressed as to our abilities. Hindsight is always better than present. Most of those people written about are sociopaths and hard to deal with on any level as they change like an amoeba. This book does make you think, but a number of business people are sociopaths who function well in our society.

  • wonder get you thinking book

great read and so interesting. Gladwell is outstanding in explaining what we can't see but is staring us right in the face but we refuse to believe. Recent headline driven news events used as examples Looking forward to reading more of his work.
