    A typical L'Amour achievement ! Excellent ! All his books are good !

    Have never read a bad book by this author. I have read over a hundred of his novels and all were great reading. His Sackett series is super good. All of his short stories are the best of all. He has also written some true life books that are outstanding. Also the 5 Hopalong Cassidy books he wrote under another name way back when were outstanding. I can not say too much good about this man and his life.

    16 stories, all excellent westerns, there are no better.

    Louis Lamour storys are the best westerns written, the only exceptions are some Zane Gray writtings. Read both to form your opinion. This is a good way to start with his stories. Your can then move on to the next 6 collections, 100's of stories. Good luck.
