    One Of My Favorites

    Last year, I tore my Achilles tendon, and as I was recovering from surgery, this DVD was the best thing that happened to me. My right leg was in a cast from the shin down, so there was a lot I couldn't do. But for much of this program, you are seated on the floor and I was able to do, with some variations, all of the seated poses. My flexibility improved tremendously, in a short period of time. And I just felt so much better in general when I did this routine. This program moves at a very slow pace and you hold each position for several long breaths. But, man, is it effective. Now that I am mostly healed, I am able to do the standing poses as well and they are pretty challenging to do properly, but really great.     Yoga Burn with Rodney Yee

    Rodney Yee puts together a great routine that focuses on strengthening and stretching all the major muscle groups. The poses are held longer than in power yoga and are repeated three times, with the intensity increasing each repetition. I do enjoy the faster power yoga, however this video is my choice when I need a good stretch and want to hold stretches longer. Very calming for the mind and body alike.

    YOGA BURN

    Excellent DVD. Rodney Yee is an excellent instructor. Good cues, nice setting. I am a personal trainer and wanted to broaden my horizons and bring certain aspects of Yoga to my group classes and to my clients. I find Rodney easy to follow and I think most people would enjoy this DVD. Just be aware this is not a workout for beginners. YOU WILL SWEAT!!!
