    A loving parable of how we are shaped by our parent's tall tales

    I bought this book after seeing the movie several times. My own (beloved) late father was a "Big Fish" and I am so reminded of him by this book. For anyone who believes that as long as our loved ones are not forgotten they aren't truly dead, this is a lovely short read. The movie is visually stunning,but a more somber version of the story is contained in the book.I believe as a parable about our parents and how they shape us with the stories they tell ,this is a gem of a book. I can't think of another book of this kind that is as meaningful,to me at least.

    Big Fish

    Great summer reading if you like fantasy mixed with reality. The style of the author is good and a teenager as well as an adult would enjoy this book.

    Yes it was good.

    I had to buy this book for a college english class. It was very interesting and similar to the movie, i enjoyed both.
