Well, it's easy to understand why it's considered a masterpiece. A Fellini masterpiece. A youthful Anthony Quinn, and Giulietta Masina who had a 50 year marriage with Fellini. Movie is a masterful tragedy. Don't expect Bambi and Thumper. Not surrealistic like most Fellini movies. More of a traditional linear story line. Everyone should see this movie.
