Poor instructions, shattered wheel, confused cycles
We finally got the room done that this was to go into; however, when I took the box off, I noticed one of the front wheels was shattered, nothing left, useless. Turned it on heat to start warming up the room and a LOT of cold air blew out the back of the machine where the vent hose is supposed to go to vent for the A/C part of the unit. Minimal warm air came out of the vents in the front and the temperature was set at 76. This had ran most of the night and the room was NOT 76 (probably because of the cool to cold air coming out the back), and my daughter in law said she had to empty the water out of the unit as it was full. To warm the air, there needs to be some moisture. The instructions in relation to the heat cycle are nil. It basically tells you how to set to heat and that is it. ... Serene Life beats Frigidaire
Here is a review for you! There was a mix up here at home and my brother also bought a portable AC Unit (Frigidaire 10,000 BTUs). I already had Serene Life set up but just to be fair we tried both. Serene Life blows Frigidaire out of the water! Not only was the flow of cold air stronger, it cooled the whole living room/kitchen down in about half an hour. The other unit had a weaker current and I never fully felt like it cooled down the house. Also the remote works very well with the unit. You do not need to point Exactly at the unit to use the remote. All in all I am very satisfied.Here is a review for you!
