    Taj Rules, but Who still Prove to be Invincible

    The second CD is really what this is about - 3 Taj Mahal cuts, one VERY rough version of Revolution, one Dirty Macs jam (ok) and a run through of Yer Blues and two classical piano pieces. It it worth it? I’m sorry but I liked it even if it is only 35 minutes long. I wanted it, I bought it and I loved the Taj songs where Jesse Ed Davies went to town.

    Stones' Magical Mystery Tour

    Just as Satanic was the Stones attempt at Sgt Peppers this I felt was the band's attempt to match Magical. On its own it's an ok effort but because I feel it's deliberate copying of their main rival ---wholly unnecessary given their talent---Im not driven to listen to it repeatedly.
