Rather fiddly to paint and assemble but looks good when it is finished. We used a little glue to make some of the planets more secure.

And ok product. Worth the price but was difficult to assemble especially for kids because the tolerances were too tight and parts would not fit easily. We ended up breaking one of the arms as had to use a lot of force to press it in. Bought this for a school project, but ended up having to super glue one of the arms back so overall more hassle than I would have liked. But produ t is ok and looks nice.

    • Solar System Garbage .

I would not recommend this Solar System model. It comes with a tiny piece of sand paper that is supposed to help the paint adhere to the plastic but in actual fact this does very little to help . After painting then letting dry and then giving another coat I hoped it may work better but the picture attached below was after about 4 coats. You can also see the planets don't fit together very well and all of the larger planets have a gap between them . I would rather it had cost a little more and been good quality. Save your money and don't bother with this .

    • Straight in the Bin

I bought this for my 8 year old to do at the end of his space topic at home. It was so fiddly & unclear how to assemble my child just lost interest straight away! The planets are so small it would have been a nightmare to paint (after sanding them!!!!) so this went in the bin & the box went in our junk modelling collection!! Waste of money!

    • Perfect to get the child interested in the subject

It was exactly what I was looking for. Something not expensive and can be fun to build with your child to complete his homework

    • Solar planetarium

Ok but a bit flimsy. Paint doesn't stick very well
