SCOOBY-DOO MEETS BATMAN: The unstoppable franchise of Scooby-Doo was boosted by the 1972 CBS series THE NEW SCOOBY-DOO MOVIES which doubled the length of the comedic mystery series and also boasted a vast array of guest stars. One of the first episodes featured fellow animated crimebusters, Batman and Robin in "The Dynamic Scooby-Doo Affair." A road trip in the Mystery Van brings the meddling kids and their constantly hungry dog to a campsite just outside of Gotham City. Here, a clash with Penguin and the Joker alerts Batman and Robin, who set up a futuristic computer outpost in a cave attempting to save the campground from the evil duo.SCOOBY-DOO MEETS THE HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS: One of the most ambitious SCOOBY-DOO entries combined colonial America and 1970s basketball into one spooky mystery. From the 1972 series THE NEW SCOOBY-DOO MOVIES, the vacationing Harlem Globetrotters meet up with the Mystery Van when Scooby, Shaggy and the gang are off to meet Shaggy's Uncle Nathaniel. Here, they run into ghosts of Paul Revere and other Revolutionary War figures. Three episodes in all are included with the Globetrotters, who, contrary to the memory of many children of the '70s, are not actually involved with the production. The Globetrotter voices are provided by actors such as Robert DoQui, Stu Gilliam, and Scatman Crothers, who had worked on many other Hanna-Barbera animation projects.

    Copy of Partial DVD

    My grandson enjoyed the DVD but it appears to be a copy of the original DVD which I wasn’t expecting and It doesn’t contain the Harlem Globetrotters as displayed on the cover. 😡 I know it wasn’t expensive but I expected to get what depicted in the picture.
