Perfect Balance between comfort and performance.
Honestly I had no clue what to get for my car. All I knew was that my front struts were done (the rear were bad as well) and the shop wanted around $1000 to do the job. I thought of doing it myself and it was a scary search, found a lot of nicely priced coilovers but am glad I did my research which lead me to TEIN. They were a little bit more than I was hoping to pay (after seeing sets of $200) but reading the horror stories of you Pat what you get for, I decided to chock up a little more for the Tein Street basis which reviewed excellent for quality and durability and recomendéis for daily drivers which was surprising. I was on the fence but I read a review about not loosing that “Lexus feel” and was convinced and boy am I glad! They are beyond perfect. The ability to adjust it to find ... Exactly what i wanted
These coilovers are just what I wanted. Ride is noticably firmer, slight less body roll, extremely adjustable (7 threads from maxing them out and the stock 17s are sitting just about flush). Im not about the slammed life i just wanted a fimer ride and to lower it to a good functional height and thats what i got. Install took sometime since ive never done suspension work before but the instructions were clear on how to assemble. Really glad i got these for my daily. I could see these being pretty good for track/drift w/ good sway bars or something as well.These coilovers are just what I wanted. Make ride a little stiff in the is300 and they need better instructions on set up and how much preload should be on top mounting nut. And that to make it easy you need a spring compressor for most cars but good replacement set up

I was hesitant ordering sport coil overs because I didn't want to lose that Lexus feel but it just got better. Handles amazingly. I went ahead and went down all the way with the adjustment and it's very very low but very firm yet smooth. No noise. No rattling or slamming or knocking. Just perfect I love them. I would recommend these to any person new to coil overs or anybody looking for a great sporty ride without paying 1000$.
