In fact, this Nikon battery is interchangeable with several different cameras, including the V1, D800E, D800, D7000, D600, D7100, D810, D610, D750, D7200, D810A, and D750. When you need to replace a Lithium-ion unit for your cameras, the EN-EL15 model works for multiple units that you might have among your equipment. This powerful EN-EL15 battery will hold its charge while allowing you to shoot with confidence. Offers a long battery life thanks to the 2.5 hours it takes to charge them entirely from an empty state. The Nikon batteries are securely sealed within a rounded, black housing. You'll notice the gold tab contacts on one side of the EN-EL15 battery that guide your installation process. These Li-ion Nikon batteries snap right into their rechargeable unit so that you can slide them in and out as necessary. All of the applicable battery specifications are printed on the contact side of the Nikon product. Check that this camera battery is rated at 7 volts and you're ready to snap it into your Nikon 1 V1. Whether you have a D800 or D500 Nikon camera, these rechargeable accessories were designed to keep the hot battery away from critical internal parts. The plastic housing that surrounds the Nikon EN-EL15 battery contains insulation, which allows it to remain cool to the touch. Insert these 3.1-ounce batteries into other DSLR models, such as a D750, D7000, or D7100, and you'll still see the same reliable power across all of these technologies. Videos and higher resolutions on the Nikon camera will always take more power than a regular image shot, but the less than half-inch battery size will still offer power through intermittent or extended periods of camera blocking. According to Nikon, charging an EN-EL15 battery that's about halfway drained won't affect its performance. Because the Nikon EN-EL15 battery is only slightly bigger than 2 inches in length, every charging period should be quick and easy. Users appreciate the fact that the Nikon EN-EL15 battery also fares well in both hot and cold weather. The Lithium-ion core within the 1.6-inch-wide battery housing will always withstand moderate temperatures.

    Standard, Reliable Battery

    Happy to get another OEM Nikon battery for my camera. It is reliable and lasts a long time before needing to be recharged. On a tour to England I only needed two batteries, one as a spare that I didn't have to use. I usually could recharge the battery overnight after a day of shooting with my D750. I swapped them anyway to even the use. Nikon chargers are dual-voltage so only an adapter for the wall plug is needed in Europe. Other battery brands may work, but I've found the OEM Nikon batteries work well and the price is not that much more than the non-Nikon batteries.

    Not glamorous, but definitely handy!

    What can you say about a battery? As the title indicates, a camera battery certainly isn't glamorous, but when you need a back up, a spare is darn handy. I got this battery to back up the one supplied with my Nikon 1 V1 mirrorless digital camera. With this camera, the flash operates off the camera battery thus placing some extra drain on the battery. When you have five grandkids running around, you take a lot of pictures and use a lot of flash if indoors, so a back up battery makes for some extra peace of mind. As always, Nikon quality and reliability.

    Great battery to meet demanding photography needs!

    The battery is perfect. I have used it several times. It is an original battery so performance is as expected. Once I charged the battery, I powered up my camera. The camera uses a lot of power due to wifi and transfer of photos to my Apple devices. This battery is the perfect complement to my photo system.

    Good value for the real thing!

    I have tried several generic batteries and so far none hold up and last as long as the original Nikon brand battery. So I shop only for Nikon brand and look for the best value at the time I am in need of a new battery. So far so good with these new Nikon batteries.

    Easy to charge and easy to use.

    This would get a 5-star rating if the battery were more reasonably priced by Nikon Corp. Everything Nikon produces has a mark up that is hard to take sometimes if you want to stay with genuine Nikon products.
