Ordered genuine Olson Cool Blocks (band saw). Said they'd come in original packaging with instructions, but they came in small plastic bag, no instructions. Called Gary @ Band Saw Warehouse. He said ship'g is way up - over $5 (he only charges $3.95). Original pkgng wd cost more. He buys in bulk - to keep $$ down, he repackages. Offered to send pix of hundreds of original packs before he repacks. Guaranteed they're genuine Olson blocks. I'm totally satisfied. Good comm's. Great eBay seller.

I'm a repeat buyer, and this second purchase experienced extremely slow shipping (11 days from NJ to VA). Seller told me it happens a lot with the USPS in NJ near NYC ... tracking showed it at one post office for several days. Sharing this info in case you need the items immediately.

    Exactly what I needed.

The bands are a little tough to get on but they should be. There is a simple tool included that really helps one you get the feel for it. My 30 year old band saw is like brand new. Money well spent.

  • Yup I would recomend.

the tires were tough to get on but the warm water trick helped.the tool provided wasn't really much help, I went with tools for actually replacing tires I also used soapy water which put me over the top. these tires do not require any glue and absolutely do not slip. The saw is much quieter and cuts smooth and I think they look great also. I did in the end use the tool provided to roll underneath tire after mounting to make how the tire lays on the wheel consistent all the way around. there was a bit of a seam at joint but it sanded down easily. I have used saw a bit and not seeing any issues at all with these tires.

  • The Perfect Solution for a Slipping Blade

I had not used my band saw for a few decades so when I fired it up, it worked for a few minutes but then I heard some noise that did not sound right. I opened up the case and saw the blade had slipped off the wheel. I tried to make any necessary adjustments but nothing worked. I then read that the tires get worn and that could be the problem. I saw a YouTube video where the uy had recommended Bandsaw Tire Warehouse (who knew?) so I went to that store and bought tires for my 40 year old saw. They installed like a dream and the blade worked perfectly. Also included with the tires was a tool to help install the tires. I did not need it but it was a nice touch.

  • Great product

Very easy to install, this product saved my 45+ year old Sears Craftsman band saw which needed new tires. Thanks for having a product like this available for a product a manufacturer no longer is selling parts for. I also recommend the two bearings and the blade guide-blocks, I cannot believe I was able to find these products for a such an old band saw.

  • Found a new method to put these on.

Never put one of these on before but I was finally able to get it done. Soaked in hot water for 5 or so minutes. After watching several videos on how it is accomplished I came up with my own method. Instead of using clamps to help hold it in place while you are stretching it on and then having the clamps fall off, use zip ties! Works great!
