Had to sand the battery bay down a bit so 1 AA would spring smoothly to the Positive contact. For a 1980s gun that my parents never could afford to get me as a kid, it is in great and fun condition with its box! Ordered a 2nd for my nephew's birthday, and appreciate the unexpected $2 refund.
