Exactly As Promised, Great Price & Delivered Early
This is an original equipment replacement at a great price - including the top quality gasket set. All you'll need to replace your motor. It should be noted that the motor has a Century nameplate -- but it's an A.O. Smith motor re-branded by its new owner. Finally, Backyard Pool Supply went above and beyond in answering all of my questions and being sure I was happy with my purchase.

Almost Happy
The motor is the right one for the pool, but during the first hour of use it seemed to being having a problem. I removed the motor from the pump assembly and noticed that the PS201 Seal spring that is mounted on the impeller had released the dark porcelain cap and it wasn't working properly. I replaced that seal with the one that had been on the old motor. I will need to get another one soon, if this one shows any mismatch issues. I had never had one like that out of the four I have used; I realize this happens. Always keep a spare on hand
Good motors. Keep a new one as spare when pool motor dies. Run for several years. On Hayward superpump that goes forever, which is now 26 yrs old!!!0
