The unit does have a good sound quality there is NO background hiss. I had to use a longer cord because I mounted higher on my bass guitar strap. I definitely don't recommend to put it with your floor pedals sense it is a light ABS plastic package and you will have to be gentle with the transmitter battery door it does have a thin plastic lock. Battery life seems to be good. I use rechargables and get about 4hrs before the guage goes to half life

Product is ok. Made out of cheap plastic which if droped can break easily. Battery life is horrible. Manufacturer claims to have up to 8hours of play with 2aa I can get the most 50min on newly fresh batteries.

My bassist and I both bought one. With 6 channels to choose from, there is no cross talk. We play on pretty large stages and have yet to have a drop out. I can't tell the difference in tone or volume between this and being hardwired, unlike the VHF units we were using before. Set up is extremely easy. The polycarbonate construction may or may not be tour worthy, guess we'll find out. The price is right for testing out the technology of the g systems. If all continues to go well, I may consider upgrading to the g50 or g70 and keeping the g30 as a backup.

I've only used it once for a 3 hr gig. It worked just fine. I've heard that the batteries do not last long. I'm leaving these in to see how long it lasts.

I had recently purchased a Line 6 G30 for my Fender Jazz. I was so pleased with the ease of use and sound I bought another to use with Rickenbacker 4003 stereo bass. No more cumbersome stereo cord and a wonderfull sound. No cross signal!
