    Expensive but you get what you pay for: top quality.

    Excellent scope. Lenses are clear to the edge. Great visibility even in low light. Adjustable firedot reticle is perfect. Reseating the elevation turret after a full revolution could be better but still easy to use. Images are crisp and clear from 3 to 15. I've had it at the range twice and in the field for a hunt once, and I'm very happy with it so far. I do own another VX5HD 3-15x44, and have used that one a lot more. Great scope.

    Nice scope

    All good so far. Mounted on my ULA 7mm Rem saum in Talley steel rings and bases. Plan to send for the custom dial once I chronograph a load. Should be a great light weight rig with some reach.

    Leupold VX-5 Won't let you down

    Great optics! You can spend a lot more but, you can't buy much better than the VX-5 Leupold. For me the Fire-Dot reticle works great on those last 15 minutes of an evening hunt. The CDS system flat out works!

    Leupold vx 5 hd

    Got the fire dot cross hair. Has a battery and you turn it on and off. Pretty cool but also unnecessary for hunting. Wonder if it will still work in 20 years.

    Just amazaballs

    So my buddy’s uncles friend had on and he fell of a small 25.5 ft cliff and the glASS of the scope broke out but the cross hairs where still intact and about the tile be looked up he notices a 4x6 buck galloping in a wooded glen He was able to get the shot off and luck would have it he missed the buck and killed the blue grouse in the tree directly behinds it. It’s a win in my book. Luepold for life.
