      Cost effective

      Have no idea about longevity of coils, but passes all OBD-II diagnostics. Thought I had a single bad coil, but after disconnecting and reseating the coil, no further "misfires". -These "feel" lighter than OEM, but it wasn't an issue with me as I would never know if the housing, amount of copper used, or just my imagination. I didn't actually weigh them. They work and I have my old spares. You might want some extra dielectric grease handy, some boots are dry or light with the way they are out of box. In all happy and only one knuckle buster on a Crown Vic.

      Solved my miss

      I replaced my coil and spark plug in #1 cylinder and it fixed my random miss problem. I believe it was like a $13 purchase. Mechanic would have charges hundreds. I didn't see anyone else selling just one of each for my 98 5.4 motor. Be aware old spark plug America out with just finger pressure. I need to go back and check torque in all the others eventually. These motors are known for this, and breaking spark plugs.

      Best price on OEM product

      The coils on my 17 year old RV were dying one by one. Rather than replacing them one at a time (the last two died while on vacation and cost almost $150 each to have replaced), I decided to replace all of them. I did a lot of research and found that "real" Ford coils were recommended. Aftermarket coils seem to be "hit or miss". Sometimes you get ones that are great, sometimes you get ones that fail after a very short time. From the Ford garage, if my memory serves me right, they were talking $75 each ... that is $750 in coils for my 10 cylinder engine! These coils have the correct Ford engineering number on them so I believe they are true OEM coils (I called Ford to confirm the engineering number). At about 1/3 the price you can't go wrong.
