    Great grill, easy to install, adds to the over appearance of my Tacoma XP.

    This is a genuine Toyota product and as such the quality is great and the install was very easy. Watch one of the many Youtube videos on the install and this is a project you can knock out in under an hour.

    Perfect fit and look, harsh price for a piece of plastic.

    Nothing like an OEM product for your truck, that being said, it is a lot of money for a piece of plastic. This is the grill Toyota should put on all of their Tacomas. Installation was a breeze, fitting perfectly especially using the proper OEM wiring harness and garnish for the forward radar system.

    Factory Grill

    OEM, easy to install, great quality - well, as good as these new plastic grills get! Takes about 15 minutes to replace original grill and really dresses up the truck. The TOYOTA letters are metallic color (not chrome), but stand out nicely.

    Improve the look of your truck.

    Replacing the chrome grille of my TRD Off Road with this Pro grille was simple and quick. There are plenty of videos on line to show you how. The hardest part is being careful not to break the tabs on the original grille insert when removing it from the surround, in case you want to reuse or sell it. Once the original grille insert is removed, this Pro grille insert snaps perfectly into place and remounting the new assembly back on to the truck is a breeze. It may be an expensive piece of plastic but is does appear to be good quality. Most importantly though, it totally transforms and improves the look of the truck. The black grille really accentuates the other black features on the truck for a more unified and aggressive look compared to stock.

    An expensive piece of plastic, but worth it

    Is the TRD PRO Grille Insert worth this amount of money, rationally speaking? No. Is it a purchase I regret? Most definitely not. Replacing out the stock chrome grill for this matte black insert changes the entire demeanor and presence of the Tacoma TRD Off-Road, adding a dark aggressive glare up front while also toning down the annoyingly mismatched contrast of the chrome components. My black Tacoma seems an entirely new truck since replacing. The grill itself is easy to install, MUCH easier to install than removing the original grill from the clips that hold into place. I recommend watching YouTube vids of installations not just by professionals, but also normal owners to get a more reasonable idea of the process.
