The Only Real Alternative to Thermal Pads I Could FInd
I am not aware of another product on the market similar to this. It solves the problem of trying to figure out what size pads you need. Sometimes thermal pads are too thin or too thick. Often times, some pads don't compress well to mold around components. This solves all those headaches and guesswork. It's thick but compresses very well (similar to thick thermal paste) and takes the shape of any component it is applied to. It fills gaps on uneven heatsink surfaces perfectly. It also stays in place and does not spread or spill around your components past the shape it reaches after compression. I can't measure its effectiveness at transferring heat but I will say that it cured artifacts on my 7970 video card that previously had generic thermal pads.I am not aware of another product on the market similar to this. Great thermal improvement
I did as told in the videos (youtube), added a ton of the product (of course not that much, I used about 10g in my laptop) and I definitely felt a difference. I would feel the areas around the video card extremely hot before using this, it would get to 90 degrees Celsius quite easily (playing of course), but now even when it gets to 90 degrees the sensation of hot isn't that bad. Excellent thermal pad replacement
It works as advertised, i lost a thermal pad in a gtx 970 and had thermal issues since then, after applying this compound my card is as good as new
