I used this along with the Cat5 extender in my media room. Super easy to setup and works fantastic with my receiver and cable box stored out of site in the built in cabinet. Everything was good quality and I had zero issues. Would highly recommend for someone needing this solution.

Remote control extender review
This item is awesome, i had never heard of infrared repeaters until I wanted to hide my cable box and dvd player. The product worked well with the DVD player but I could only get the cable box to turn off and on, After repeted tries I went on line and found that for some reason AT&T cable boxes do not work well with repeaters. I did not contact the company as I could put my cable box behind the tv and as far as the unit working on other systems it appears to work flawlessly.This item is awesome, i had never heard of infrared repeaters until I wanted to hide my cable box and dvd player.
