cant tell how accurate this is turned on in my house with fans on low tv off says 50 dcb, seems high but to measure sound it says to keep 1 meter aka 3 feet from obj but with all noise off in house still reads over 40 dcb. I dont think this is accurate for in house or outdoor, cant reccomend
