Works fine
The connector that goes from battery to circuit board has a strange plug. Could have used a little more info. on that. The plug is pressed into the connector flat! It does not plug into the pins!

Installed easily but lower capacity
I should've looked more closely, as this battery was a lower capacity than the original Nook Color battery. However, it installed fairly easily, charges consistently and has been working fine for me. If your original battery just won't hold a charge anymore, this one will get you back in business.

Installation agony
This is a GREAT product; saved me having to spend $100+ on a new reader. The only weaknesses are the plastic tools included for prying the covers apart. The smaller one actually broke on me, but I did manage to work around it. I recommend that the installer have very good eyesight, and superior manual dexterity and a very "fine touch" and small hands and fingers, as the spaces are very tight and the connections very delicate. YOU MUST WATCH THE VIDEO FOUND ON THE LINK INCLUDED IN THE PAPERWORK. It is excellent.This is a GREAT product; saved me having to spend $100+ on a new reader. Nook gets new life
This is a great little kit. The included tool set made the battery replacement easier. Watch the You Tube video for the process. The two screws in the corner (SD card cover) are smaller than all the others, careful here. Wife is very happy that her Nook no longer has short reads due to a five year old battery.

Some good, some not so much.
The plastic tools that came with it are all but useless. Torx driver is great. The battery is smaller and somewhat less powerful than the OEM unit that it replaces, but still better than what I took out, so overall I am satisfied with the product.
