    The Workman CB-3AXX 6ft 3-Pin 12AWG Cable Dual Fuse Radio Power Cord is a good quality product. The three pin plug holds tight in the radio. I replaced the negative 4 amp fuse with the higher amperage one from my old cord. The cord is working well.

    Heavy wiring. Professionally built. Exactly what I needed to put some fire in that wire. Using the factory wiring in the truck are often too small. Using this larger wire and connecting directly to the vehicle’s battery will give more amperage which leads to more wattage available for the CB.

    Power Cable and Basic Install Instructions

    Very heavy and high quality 12 AWG power cables. The best I've found. Come with 10A fuse in (+) Red wire holder and a (-) Black wire fuse holder a 4A. Please make darn sure that you check the radio manufacturers fuse MAX recommendation. Replace both fuses with the value they recommend. Otherwise if something goes wrong you will most likely be buying another radio. If you run the power cable to the car/truck battery terminals it will result in lower noise. However, you need to put two new fuse holders one in each wire close to the battery. Why? If the cable wire shorts to the frame it will cause a fire. Then you may have to buy a new vehicle. Use heavy rubber grommet at firewall to prevent chaffing of wire insulation. Do not run power cable through door frame (too much flexing)!

    One Tough DC Cable

    I thought the Two-Pack was a very unique idea and I was right. I used one of these heavy duty cables from my battery to a fuse block I installed in the passenger compartment. I used the second cable for the CB radio I had purchased second hand that was missing the cord. The dual fuse is a super addition and gives me comfort if anything should go awry with the electrical connections. I highly recommend these DC cables and will definitely purchase again in the future.

    3 PIN PWR CORD

    The only issue that I have with most of these manufactured, ...is that the fuse holders aren't located at the source end. If I were a radio manufacturing god, blade fuses (not glass) would be at the source end enclosed in one of those weatherproof fuseholders. Yes these are made with #12 Zip Cord, but you'll see a voltage drop under a 10 amp load across those long filaments in the glass fuses. -Herr Dougie-

    High Quality, Best Deal

    Great price and heavy duty for serious radios. You can put whatever amp rating fuse you like up to the 12 gauge rating. I am using two 15 amp in it for my custom uniden cb. This allowed me to take the cb out fast and in another vehicle for a bargain install.

    Good heavy wires

    It's got good heavy 12ga. wire to make sure you get the power you need for the higher powered radios. I like the fact that it has fuses on both the power and the negative wires. I definitely reccomend this power cable.
