A BEAUTIFUL & FUNCTIONAL UNIT AT A GREAT PRICE
I bought this unit after weeks of thorough research. By looks alone it was the one that I was going to originally buy. I was hesitant due to some a lot of negative reviews from other sources, and due to it being listed as Refurbished. The unit arrived and was packed well. I opened it up and was very pleased with not only the aesthetic appeal, but also the functionality. This unit looks and plays like a Brand New Unit! The CD player will make a loud whirring, ticking noise if the CD that you attempt to play is not clean (has a lot of scratches), but that was the only issue that I had upon testing it. Also the CD player opens and closes pretty smoothly. The tape player is good sound-wise and is easy to pop tapes in and out, although you do have to turn the tape over to 'Rewind' it as there is only a 'Fast Forward' button (but that seems to be standard on these kinds of units). I have had no issues with the USB Record feature so far. Just make sure you use a flashdrive that is in decent shape. I was most pleased to find that, indeed this particular unit DOES have AUX In hook ups in the front (and the back) of the unit for attachment of other speakers, although the medium-rich bass sound quality is adequate for my personal preferences without attaching any additional speakers. But in the event that the ones on the unit go bad you can hook that extra speaker or speakers with a 3.5 mm audio cable from the Headphone jack into the external speaker(s). It also DOES include an RCA audio cable for hook-up to other external devices with RCA plugs like DVD players, etc. which you hook up to the ones in the back. The AUX in for playing MP3 players, phones, etc. as well as the Headphone jack is in the front of the unit for easier access. You have to make sure that the volume is up where you want it to be on whatever device you are playing through the unit as that does affect the volume of the audio playing through the unit itself. The remote control is a nice slim, curvy design that fits my hand well. (The remote control length is about 6 ½ inches: see scaled photo) It takes two AAA batteries. There is no Power On/Off button on the remote control, however it does have everything else for Volume Control: Open/Close as well as all of the separate switch functions buttons (CD/USB (CD/USB is the default setting it goes to when Powering On & Off), Record, Program, Repeat, Shuffle, Radio, Phono, Tape, Bluetooth, Aux, Stop, Skip Forward/Back, Volume Up/Down, Play/Pause and Folder Up/Folder Down as well as a Mute button. The front of the Unit has medium-sized easy-to-press buttons for the following: Delete, Repeat, Program Shuffle, Record on the left-hand panel, then: Aux/Bluetooth, Phono, CD/USB, Tape and AM/FM on the right-hand panel. I love the turning dials for the Radio, although you must tune it manually, as the remote control does not have Radio Tuning buttons. But overall, this unit is very user-friendly. The only thing with units like these is that you won't get accurate, spot on readings as far as what Station it is indicating that it is tuned in to, but this unit still gets pretty decent reception on most local and a few non-local radio stations. The record player does not have a return arm, but that does not affect my overall rating of it sound-wise and user-friendly-wise. Three replacement needles were included (which was a pleasant surprise) as well as the RCA audio hook-up cable as mentioned before and also a white dust cloth with the 'Victrola' branding printed upon it. The unit is easy to use and does not take up a lot of space, which is great. While I was testing the record player, I did not notice any skipping while playing a moderately used album. I would definitely recommend investing in this beautiful unit. I like it much better than the Crosley 704 Unit that I used to have. Very pleased. So glad I chose this one. Hopefully it lasts a couple of years, but it would still be a great Unit at a decent price even if everything goes quickly except the Record Player and the Radio.

Great little player. Now i can play all my older music and the new stuff also. Love the cassette player and the turntable is awesome. Vinal sounds so much better than all that mp3 and mp4 music. Beautiful sound system.
Sound is amazing. Love it. Everything sounds and works great. Wasn't able to try the cassette because I have no cassettes.
