The software was new. It was sealed and came with a physical disc. (Not a download). The first time I tried to install it, the message from steam was that someone else had already been assigned that ID number. The second and third time I tried to install, I got a message that steam was not avallable and to try later. The problem seems to be with steam.

Runs like a deer on my new computer
I initially had problems getting the program to install on a new Dell Inspiron 16-5645 AMD laptop but searching online revealed this is a common problem. I was finally able to load it. I'm able to run all graphics settings to maximum and frame rates are very good and flight is smooth. All in all I'm very satisfied.

MSFSX Steam Edition is then latest Microsoft (2006) modified for run on new OS (Win10) and overall have better graphics and run smoother. I hope is going to get even better on the future and improve its graphics to a photo realistic level like a couple of software's out there but it still a very good simulator.

I thought flight sim X was good. Stream is very nice because I can run with a lot of options and not bog down my computer. Long time downloading but worth it. Overall, I think it is the best sim for the money

Wouldn't work and ZERO customer support
I could not get this working on my Windows 10. Microsoft W10 has known issues running MFS. . I was hoping the Steam edition would be different. I was wrong. BEWARE !! ZERO CUSTOMER SUPPORT !!! And you would probably need it. Don't waste your money.
