Great product but much heavier than a manual die cutter/embosser
Actually, I did not know what to expect. However, the machine works BEAUTIFULLY! It is so much easier to die cut than with a manual die cutter/embosser. However, this machine is HEAVY! The MOther of all Diecutting Machines
I dragged my feet in purchasing this Gemini Die-cutting and Embossing Machine since I already own a Big Shot and a Cuttlebug. Now I wonder why I waited so long! This machine cuts like butter and doesn't require any assistance from me but to line up the "sandwich" and put it through! I have shoulder problems and sometimes I would have to crank intricate dies through my manual machines many times before I would get a clean cut. Talk about sore arms! This machine is heavy as many others have said, but, once I found a place to keep it, that problem is moot. Perhaps I should have gotten the Gemini Jr., but with the deal I got I couldn't resist the original Gemini. Are you procrastinating about getting a Gemini. Don't! It's wonderful, especially when doing a lot of cutting. It cuts better with one pass than both of my manual machines with 2 or 3 passes. I really like the fact that I can put a whole sheet of 8 1/2 by 11 inch paper through without having to trim it. I can create multiple cards so much faster. Top plate broke
I only used my machine a few days and I used the plates exactly as directed and the top plate curled up the first time I’d used it and I flipped it every time I used it then it broke... not happy about this but I love the machine.
