Better than Blackhawk
For range use, or situations such as courts and jails, where the holstered firearm must frequently be removed and later remounted, the Tagua is superior to the Blackhawk Serpa system. The Tagua rotation mechanism is intuitive and positive. The pressure lock is secure and easy to find and manipulate, particularly when wearing gloves in the cold. Most impressively, the paddle is large, with adequate claws to keep the holster on the belt and waistband, but vastly less clumsy than the two Blackhawk paddles (or perhaps the paddle and a tongue). There may be a simple method to get the Blackhawk on and off, but neither I nor any of the LEO's and security professionals I know have found it. Buy the Tagua, and you won't have the problem.
