I think the original is better because of the tarmac.

Waste of time
I don't want to race, I want to go off road and romp. The controller is way too sensitive, the car goes into the rocks or off the road with hardly any input from the controller.\ Wants players to spend way too long setting up the car instead of driving or racing; waste of time. Costs too much--you have to pay for the extras
Very good graphics and gameplay, however, you have to start a career. I don't want to start a career, I'm not interested in that, I simply want to see the tracks and do time trial. I only compete against myself, and there is no way to do that in this game, so I sold that and the c0nsole once I found out you have to pay hundreds $$ just to get all the extras.
