I have used this product for a good 50 years of my life. It is wonderful to keep the brassy out of blonde, gray and white hair, however I personally can't use it the way it is recommended to use, I wash my hair with regular shampoo then do a last quick wash with this. I have found thru the years if I let it set on my hair for a few minutes like they recommend it will give my white hair a blue tent, so I don't use it that way.
