    Basic Dehumidifier Controller

    I would have liked a digital smart dehumidifier controller but did not find one listed that would work. This one will work. It is basic and therefore less prone to have problems. Also less expensive.

    Humidistat

    Hooked this up to my existing thermostat to control my A/C and humidity while I am away for an extended time. According to the instructions for series hook up you break the Y wire. This keeps the fan running all the time. I broke the R wire and now it works fine. The only issue with this is that the heating cycle would not work unless the humidistat was turned back to the on position. It looks good and does what I need. Couldn't be happier.
