Choose from any of 14 different characters to fight with. Battle head-to-head against your friends with the Neo Geo Pocket Link Cable. Collect Graphic Cards that show new moves for your samurai to unleash upon their opponents.<br><br>Samurai Shodown! 2 on the Neo Geo Pocket Color is a continuation of the long line of Samurai Shodown games. This portable version makes no changes to the standard Samurai Shodown formula: 2D, head-to-head, weapons fighting. You can choose from samurai, fencers, staff-fighters and a host of other types of characters. Each fighter has their own distinct weapon and fighting style.<br><br>Of course, the traditional Samurai Shodown Rage Gauge remains, allowing you to pull off each samurai's respective Rage Explosion or "Method of Mayhem" (i.e. flashy, damaging, super move). Other standard fighting game moves are applied with the Neo Geo Pocket's two-button controller, from throws to rolls to escapes and even fake outs. The game even utilizes a relatively simple combo system that should allow novices to jump right in, but keeping veterans happy with longer combo strings.<br><br>This all means that Samurai Shodown is back on the Neo Geo Pocket, and this time it's not only portable, but it's also in color!Product Identifiers

Old School Portable Gaming At It’s Finest
I used to own the NeoGeo Pocket (B&W) when I was 15. The system was stolen from me about a year later by a bad houseguest, ever since then I have been looking to get back into collecting for the platform. Through an awesome auction I was able to regain the system in all its releases! Thank you tomotomo2003! All the games for the NeoGeo Pocket have great depth and this one (Samurai Shodown 2!) is no exception! It is a must buy for any SNK fan, from its original arcade controls and music to its fluid graphics. A pleasure to relive a joyful moment of my childhood, this is the type of game anyone will enjoy from young to the young at heart like myself. With two different fight modes for each of its 16 characters and scrolls to collect to enhance gameplay even further, it’s hard to question this games replay value! Undoubtedly one of the best fighting games on the system, 10/10!
