Worked for a very short time, less than a minute
worked for about 30 seconds then died . There were no desoldering tips included with the device only soldering tips .There was no iron included but box seem to suggest that it should have been included .. Iron did not bother me as the desoldering feature is all I need. The gun did start heating up but then stopped and there was a funny smell I assumed was the gun heating but now believe something burnt maybe inside the unit or the gun. I saw a good tare down video of this gun on Youtube and he said his gun has a thermal fuse that went bad. Support ask me if the gun was cold when it showed between 50 and 60 C and it was , but have not responded back to me. I would say do not buy , but there are many videos saying good thing about Yihua products . I hope the new gun fixes the issue .
