The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the fifth game in the classic Elder Scrolls franchise. This entry in the series takes place in the land of Tamriel. You are the Dovahkiin, the prophesied slayer of dragons, and your goal is to kill Alduin, the leader of these dragons, in order to bring peace back to Tamriel. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is played in the first-person. Everything from swinging a sword to casting magic is done from the eyes of your character. The game is incredibly open-ended, leaving it up to the player to choose how they play. In classic Elder Scrolls fashion, you can ignore the main quest and wander around Tamriel, which is home to many wonders, including Dwarven ruins, old castles, and dungeons. Traveling off the beaten path will reward you with powerful weapons, armor, and other items. Nearly every character you talk to in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has a quest for you. It will take the average player 40 hours to complete the main quest, but it could take over 200 hours for players to play through everything in this open-world game.In this version of Elder Scrolls, you will have the ability to use the language of the dragons. This language manifests itself in the form of a shout that allows you to perform incredible feats. The feats include forcing enemies off a cliff and freezing your foes solid.
