    No more Nicd's for me!

    These are exactly as described. I've checked running volts of Nice at start at 18vdc. Using these and L-ion a chain saw was running at 18vdc steady. Shouldn't have to worry about burnout of tool and no trying to use battery not charged for a month and finding it dead. Even if it damages a tool buying a bare tool to replace it is better than buying Nicd's. These save me from buying 3 new tools and a lot of frustration. Wish they made these to fit 14v firestorm tools. I'd take the chance on burning them up. Hate to throw away a good working tool. I can't see why you would not buy these to upgrade as the 20v lithium batteries cost less than the 18v Nicad and last longer on a full charge and lower the weight of the tool. I now have 3 tools I can keep using!

    Only works with a few of the older tools

    Once this adapter is connected to a battery it will not fit in many of the black and decker tools. Specifically does fit the blower, the vaccum, etc. It only works with the open tools like a drill.

    Two tools for the price of one

    The use of 20V on 18V tools allows the use of two battery systems into one system. In my experience the 20V Lithium is easier to use and works well on 18V. So not all tools are required to be upgraded

    Does the job

    Was excited to see this adapter, my old nicad 18v were worn out. The only problem was the 20 volt batteries did not fit. A little sanding and adjusting solved the problem. Now all my old yard tools work again.
