Monster Magnet is the brainchild of lead singer and songwriter Dave Wyndorf, who formed the band in Red Bank, New Jersey in 1988. Powertrip is A&M's 3rd Monster Magnet release and is by far the band's strongest album to date; the strength of the songwriting on this album has increased dramatically over that of it's predecessors and is sure to capture the attention of rock, metal, alternative and college programmers alike. 1st single/video: "Space Lord."
